The education continues.
Tomorrow I leave for the Stanford Cancer Center. Although I have received a second opinion already, and feel good about the treatment I will receive at Piedmont Hospital, the information I get at this meeting, will go a long way to help ease my mind about the steps I am taking to beat this. Check it out here. www.http://cancer.stanfordhospital.com/forPatients/services/multidisciplinaryTumorBoard/default?showVideo=fullsize

Sounds like the advisement in B'ham agreed with that from Piedmont. Does this mean you will likely not be commuting to B'ham for treatments?
ReplyDeleteGenerally reassuring news. Glad to hear it.
Peace!
Sounds like you have a good team with a solid plan and a great attitude. Keep us on a list to call for some extra hands. Mary Grace is almost 14 now (and just finished the Red Cross Babysitting Class), Liza Marie is 9 and they both love children. The Alleys' thoughts and prayers are with y'all!
ReplyDeleteSteve,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the most recent news was positive and hope you know we will be following your recovery closely. Nancy & I were stunned by the news Scott shared with us, and hope you know you & Andrea mean a lot to Nancy & I. Please don't hesitate to call on us if there is anything we can do to help you out while going through treatment. Our thoughts are with you
